Cards on the Table: First Friday & Aquí Art Show

Transitions made its tabling debut here in Denver at First Friday in the Santa Fe Art District and the Aquí Art Show! I had such a blast tabling at both events. My setup was full of ways to spark conversation: the Transitions card game, a prize wheel with questions from the deck, and plenty of space to chat and connect. I loved seeing people stop by to engage with the game, bond over shared experiences, and take home a deck of their own.

One moment that really stood out was when two men spun the wheel and answered questions, revealing sides of each other they had never seen before—a rare and powerful example of men sharing so openly. Even sweeter, one friend couldn’t stop hyping up the other, listing all the traits people love about him. This was a wholesome and powerful exchange that showed the power of human connection in small moments. It felt like magic.

Times like these—when strangers open up even just a little bit—remind me why I love this work so much. There truly aren’t enough words to describe the way my heart lights up witnessing those connections in action.
